Nutrition for Sports Performance
Nutrition for Distance Running
These nutrition pages will provide a broad coverage of the main issues that the athlete should be aware of.
A good diet is an essential platform for hard training and successful competition, but diet alone will not guarantee success. Talent, motivation, hard training, avoidance of injury and good racing strategy are all key elements in success. A poor diet, though, will prevent the athlete from training hard and will make it impossible to achieve the best possible results in competition.
Over the next few months, the following sections will be added to these pages at regular intervals to bring help and advice on specific issues.
